Outdoor Solar Motion Sensor Flood Lights for Yards and Entrances
Choose between BW solar flood lights with an optional radar-sensing configuration and BWC camera-equipped models with motion sensing. Confirm the sensor option, working mode, solar panel size and installation conditions before ordering.
Choose Your Radar-Sensing Configuration
| Product range | Motion-sensing configuration | Camera | Selection focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| BW60 / BW100 / BW200 / BW300 / BW500 / BW800 / BW1200 / BW1500 | Optional; specify the radar-sensing version when ordering | No camera in this configuration | Lighting controlled by movement |
| BW100C / BW200C / BW300C / BW500C / BW800C / BW1200C | Motion sensor listed for the camera version | Wi-Fi camera | Lighting with video monitoring |
A standard remote-control floodlight is not automatically a motion-sensing model. Confirm the sensor-equipped configuration before ordering. For a broader choice of lighting types, browse our solar flood light collection.

Configuration Highlights

BW models can be supplied with radar sensing as an option. Specify the sensor-equipped configuration when ordering.

Position the separate panel in unobstructed sunlight and confirm cable reach and connector compatibility.

Select night-time sensor mode or timed light-control operation followed by sensor mode, according to site use.

BWC models add Wi-Fi camera monitoring. Confirm Wi-Fi coverage at the installation point and the required recording mode.
Low Standby Brightness, Brighter Light When Movement Is Detected
- The documented BW/BWC radar mode uses 10% standby brightness and raises the light to 100% when movement is detected, with a listed high-brightness duration of 10 seconds. These settings apply to the corresponding sensor-equipped configuration. The remote includes a night-time sensor mode, plus options for three or four hours of light-operated mode followed by sensor mode. Select the mode around how the area is used. Confirm the required detection distance and angle when specifying your installation.

Separate Solar Panel for Installation Flexibility
- The lamp and solar panel are separate components. Position the panel where it receives unobstructed sunlight and check that the supplied cable reaches the chosen lamp position. Match the connector shape, connect it securely and check the charging indicator during setup.
Specify the Area and the Lighting Schedule
- Send the installation location, intended mounting position, required sensor coverage, lighting schedule and camera requirement. For a camera model, also confirm Wi-Fi coverage at the lamp location and the recording mode. Lighting operation and video recording have different energy requirements. If illumination output is the main priority, compare the model specifications at https://newskysolarlight.com/high-powered-solar-flood-lights/.

The MJ-BW and MJ-BWC models shown on this page use radar motion sensing. MJ-BWC models also add a 4MP (1440P) Wi-Fi camera and app control. For custom projects, confirm the required sensing and working modes in the quotation before production.
Detection distance and angle vary by model, installation height and ambient conditions. We confirm the tested range for the selected model in the quotation and recommend mounting it with a clear line of sight.
Runtime depends on battery capacity, solar panel size, lighting mode, local sunshine and season. For projects, we size the system around the required nightly hours and expected consecutive cloudy days.
Yes. These products are designed for outdoor use. The exact IP rating and corrosion-protection option depend on the selected model, so confirm the project environment, especially for coastal, dusty or high-humidity locations.
Yes. OEM and ODM options can include power, battery, solar panel, sensing program, housing color, logo and packaging, subject to the model and order quantity. Send the site conditions and required quantity for an engineering review.
