When we received the inquiry from our Australian customer, they were not simply looking for a solar light supplier. They were looking for a reliable outdoor lighting solution for a new residential community project.

The project included pedestrian walkways, internal roads, and landscape areas around the houses. The customer wanted to create a safer and more comfortable environment for residents at night. At the same time, they hoped to reduce the construction cost compared with traditional wired lighting systems.

During our first communication, the customer shared their main concerns with us. They needed enough brightness for walking safety, but they did not want the lighting to look too strong or too commercial. The lights needed to match the modern design of the community and become part of the landscape.

The second factor was battery reliability. In our experience, the battery is one of the most important parts of a solar light. Many low-cost solar lights use ordinary batteries, and after a period of use, the working time becomes shorter, especially during cloudy or rainy seasons. For this project, we selected the SCL-009PLUS with a 3.2V 48000mAh LiFePO4 battery. This battery type provides better safety and longer cycle life, making it more suitable for long-term outdoor applications.

The third factor was appearance. Since this project was located in a modern residential community, the lamp design was also very important. The curved design and black aluminum housing of SCL-009PLUS matched well with the surrounding buildings and landscape environment.


Our Technical Considerations for This Solar Lighting Solution

Many customers think that choosing a solar light is simply about selecting higher wattage. However, from our years of experience, the highest power product is not always the best solution.

For this Australian project, we carefully considered the solar panel capacity, battery storage, waterproof performance, and installation environment.The SCL-009PLUS is equipped with a 5V/33W monocrystalline solar panel, which provides efficient solar charging performance.
