Newskypower Solar Streetlights
In today’s urban lighting, solar streetlights are favored by more and more people as an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient lighting device. However, when choosing solar streetlights, many people may feel confused about how to choose the right product for their needs. In this article, we will explain in detail different power solar streetlights and their installation points to help you better choose the right product.
Feature of Solar Streetlights

Power Selection and Scene Requirements
The power of solar streetlights usually has a variety of options such as 30W, 40W, 60W, 80W, 100W, 120W, and 150W. Different power street lights are suitable for different scenes and needs.
For example, 30W or 40W solar streetlights are suitable for small-scale lighting such as small gardens, neighborhood roads, or sidewalks; while 80W or 100W solar streetlights are more suitable for large-scale lighting such as plazas, community, parks, highways, and so on.
According to the lighting demand and use of the scene choose the appropriate power and lamp type, to ensure that the lighting effect meets expectations.

Installation Height and Irradiation Range
According to the different power of solar streetlights, their installation height and irradiation range will be different. Take 40W solar street light as an example, it can usually be installed at a height of 6 meters to 7 meters.
After installation, its irradiation range is about 1.5 times of the height of the light pole. After calculation, the spacing between two poles is usually 3 times the height of the pole.
This installation ensures that the solar street light has an even illumination effect and covers a wide area.
Lighting Conditions and Installation Angle
When installing solar streetlights, choose a location with sufficient direct sunlight and avoid being blocked by tall buildings or trees to ensure sufficient light.
The correct installation angle can maximize the light conversion efficiency of the solar street light, and it is recommended to install the direction of the solar panel 5-10 degrees south to west, an angle of 35 degrees with the horizontal direction.
Proper installation is key to ensuring optimal performance and longevity for solar streetlights.
